The Truman show is a great example of a meta-fiction. One way that this is a meta-fiction because of how they talk about how they have made the TV show: the Truman show, which makes this a meta-fiction because of how they talk about how it is made and about how everything is an act, just like how they do on real movie sets. Another way how this is shown as a meta-fiction is how Truman talks to the camera in his bathroom like he knows it's there which makes the viewer thinks about how that is how it was made with the actors and how everything was made and how the the movie was created. Another way that the meta-fiction is shown in the Truman show movie is when they are interviewing the creator and he talks about how they are going to introduce a love interest, where the real love interest calls them and reminds you of the real love interest in the movie, which is once again shows a meta-fiction happening.
