The growth of media

My final blog for my mini-review is going to be about the growth of media. I was surprised about how fast that media has grown since the first movie, I mean think about it! We grew from 30 seconds of black and white people dancing with only sometimes there being color to all whole average 1:30 minutes for one movie with there being millions of color movies to let viewers have their chose a movie they think they will like. I also did find it interesting to see how much effort went into making those 30 second films. Another thing I like about is watching old movies  is that It felt like a good break from all the same boring jokes and mind numbing shows you see now. It almost felt like you were going back and seeing what life was like back then. That is what I think about the growth of media and what interesting it is.

My thoughts about thriller movies

For this blog I am going to be sharing my thoughts about thriller movies. I think that thriller movies are actually just plain stupid and boring. I mean basically the majority of thriller movies are just a blood bath that people who enjoy watching people getting murder bloody for their amusement and I swear that the producers just put in a horrible plot to make the viewer not feel guilty that they enjoy watching people getting bloodily murdered. Now however there are some not bad thrillers. I find the thriller movies that are good are the ones that don’t just straight out kill people and instead build a plot and focus more on the plot instead of just murdering everybody. Psycho is a good example of this because of the fact that they more focus on the plot during the movie instead of having some being murdered every five minutes. That is my honest opinion of horror movies.

Silent Noir Films

Silent Noir films I think are a quite amusing type of movies to watch. I say this because silent noir films usually seem to have a good plot to follow. One example of this is the silent noir comic we read. In this comic it had an interesting plot happening at world war two and about a man and a woman read meeting during it. Another thing I noticed about Silent Noir movies is that they usually have a dark meaning behind them and always seem to show a darker side of the world. Now it may seem depressing to hear this but I like this by how it shows that not everything is perfect like in lot movies and usually seem to be more realistic and make a more realistic appearance of the world. Silent Noir films don’t bring unrealistic thoughts to life and keep proper logic. That is what I think about The Silent Noir movies.

My Thoughts about horror movies

I think that horrors movies are overall are a bad set of movies. Now before you saying I am judging this genre just because of the stereotypes. Well there are many reasons for my opinion on horror movies. The First reason why I don’t like horror movies is by the fact the many of them have the same plot. One example of this is there are the five main characters, the slut, the jock, the schooler, the fool and the virgin and everyone dies expect the virgin, which only survives sometimes. I probably just describe roughly 80% of all horror movies. The other reason is many times horror movies have no logic. I say this because every movie gives you it’s logic that it follows at the beginning of the film and horror movies almost always breaks that logic and most horror movies usually have a bad plot and just seem to be a blood bath. In summary I don’t like how most horror movies are just blood baths just masked by a bad plot to not make the viewer feel bad that they are just watching people being murdered horrible for their own entertainment. That is why I dislike horror movies.

The Truman Show

My first mini-review is about the movie that we watched some time ago; The Truman Show. I thought that The Truman Show was a very interesting and enjoyable movie. I say this because the concept of the movie is unique, since it talks about a man who lives in a world created by man without him knowing. Another reason that the Truman show is an enjoyable movie is because this movie has no: inappropriate scenes can be watched by all ages. This movie is still able to keep the viewer interested and intruded at what is going to happen in the movie without any: gore, or violence, or death. Since this movie has none of the older content this is a good movie for the whole family to watch. The other movie is interesting about how it shows about how Hollywood uses: scenes, shoots and angles to make movies, which gives the viewer some idea about how making a movie works.
