      1. I believe that media is not very important in my life. The reason believe this is because I don't feel like that the way that the media "shows" we are suppose to be doesn't matter very much to me and i have known for a long time that people trying to act like media shows people won't work and that it is better just to be yourself, instead of caring what other people think about you.


         2.  The type of media that I feel most passionate about is the media shown in movies. The reason I feel about this is that a lot of younger kids now a days remember movies they watch more than TV shows or ads that they see so when kids remember those characters from those movies and try to act like them, when they will be looked at like a freak because chances are that most movies characters make the real world is not the same as realty.



        3.   My thoughts on modern popular culture is that modern popular culture is fine as long as it is not forced onto you. Basically if a musicians work all in your face you tend to dislike them because you feel their work is being forced on to you where if they aren't you don't mind them. New technology that helps us communicate with other people is a good thing. It keeps peace on a global scale because countries know that if they do something bad, everyone else will know about it and stop them or hate them because of it, the same is with people, celebrities and anyone in any kind of authority. basically media keeps them in check. Elements of popular culture that I don't like is when they try again to force something on you. we talk amount freedom, but when we are basically forced to see the same thing almost everywhere it sort of feels like we lose that freedom to decide if we want to see it or not. There are still some other good things about popular culture, like one example is how the media keeps you up to date anything else that is happening in the world, how things are looking, and what things we have to look forward to for the future.


       4.  I feel that teenagers in the media are portrayed very poorly in the media. The reason i think this is that the media portrays boys to have to be either all muscular or a huge nerd, but never at all in the middle. Girls shown in the media are not very much better. Many cases girls act very slutty and very sexual. It is also bad to girls because the media shows that there face has to look perfect and be this image, or this weight, basically just like the boys they give people an unrealistic image to have people desperately try and obtain. That is why i think the media shows an very inaccurate and poor portrayal of how teenagers actually are.
